Indianapolis Car Rentals - OnlineTravelComparison
Indianapolis is the capital and largest city of the state of Indiana, and is located at the state's center. Its name literally means "Indiana City" and is a combination of the state name and the Greek word for city, "polis."

From an aerial view, a notable infrastructure of the city is the oval (almost rectangular) Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The two and a half mile asphalt speedway holds the annual Indianapolis or Indy 500 automobile racing which is considered to be one of the most important racing events across the globe and NASCAR's Brickyard 400. The facility has a seating capacity of 257,000, excluding the in-field seating.

In the center of the city is the Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, which was constructed in 1902 in memory of residents involved in four different wars including the American Revolution. The monument stands to 284 feet and six inches high. Visitors are allowed up to the observation deck which can be reached either through an elevator or stairs. The surrounding road and buildings were designed around the monument so that from an aerial view, the area forms a distinct monument circle. Today, the historical monument graces Indianapolis' skyline along with modern skyscrapers.

Indianapolis' nightlife is beaming with gastronomical fares, movies, drinks, music and dancing with establishments such as the Chatterbox Tavern and The Jazz Kitchen. The downtown area has more restaurants, taverns, clubs and cafes than the North and West neighborhoods like the local Sakura Japanese Restaurant that serves the best sushi in town. There is also a choice of local hamburgers and fries, barbecue, seafood, Mexican food, Italian food, and dishes that makes use of the region's seasonal variations.

The Four Seasons Las Vegas is truly a remarkable place. At first I didn´t think it was possible to escape the sounds of a typical Las Vegas evening, but I was wrong. Don´t get me wrong I like coming to Las Vegas for the gambling, food, and pure people watching entertainment
