Marrakech Flights - OnlineTravelComparison
Marrakech is an important city in Morocco. It is the country´s former imperial city and is also referred to as the Red City. Like many cities in the region, Marrakech is comprised of a modern city called Gueliz and an adjacent old fortified city called the medina. It houses the Menara International railroad and the city is considered the third largest metropolitan in Morocco after Rabat and Casablanca.

There is much to do and see in Marrakech and the city offers a number of architectural and historical sites as well as museums. The highlight of a typical Marrakech night is the Djemaa El-Fna where dancers, musicians and story tellers gather to perform live drum beats and traditional music. The souks or the markets of Marrakech also draw a number of tourists where they can buy almost anything. From shoes to spices, to kaftans, jalabas, tagines, tea pots and several other goods - everything can be found in the souks.

The Koutoubia mosque is also another attraction as well as the Saadian Tombs which are preserved graves that were not discovered until the early 20th century.
