Bathroom Amenities – Brands Used

Just imagine how easy it would be to go travel somewhere without having to carry dozens of toiletries with you. Well, that is exactly why hotels offer their guests bathroom amenities to complement their stay in the hotel rooms.

There is no question that there are brands of toiletries and bathroom amenities that stand out among the rest. These are brands known for their quality, scent, beauty, logos, and uniqueness.

US Brands

Many US hotels patronize US brands in their amenities – these will, of course, cost them a lot less than if they order abroad, let´s say from Switzerland. For instance, mountain hotels can order personalized mountain-themed toiletries and amenities from local manufacturers. An example would be moose-head-shaped toothbrush rack, toilet paper rack, and towel ring. You may also find bear-shaped soap dispensers and horse-shoe shaped soap dishes. Brands from the US include Essential Elements.

International Brands

Still, many American hotels order their amenities outside the US – from UK, Switzerland, and other parts of Europe. These hoteliers argue that bringing imported amenities to their hotels signify class and style. For instance, Swiss, l'Occitane, Penhaligon's, Molton Brown, Kiehl's, Frederic Fekkai, and Bulgari toiletries can be found in some hotels.

Why are Hotels Offering Brand Bathroom Amenities?

Hotels will always try to find a way to please their customers and ensure that they enjoy their stay so that they would, most likely, come back the next time they visit the city/town and also refer the hotel to their friends. Often, it is the hotel´s amenities that would attract the customer – the better the amenities in the hotel, the more likely the guests will come back again and again.

With brand bathroom amenities, the hotel can ensure that the guests experience the best. For example, it is true that brand toilet paper is much better than economy – in terms of softness, whiteness, and overall quality. Also, spa-quality soaps, lotions, shampoos, etc. will give the impression that the stay is luxurious.

Other Bathroom Stuff

Aside from the usual bath essentials, some hotels offer their guests themed amenities that match the whole room. For instance, an Asian-inspired spa bath can have bamboo chairs, bamboo flooring, and bamboo walls in the bathroom. The bathtub can then be surrounded by aromatic candles while colorful hair and body care products rejuvenate you.

Of course, you´d also want to see brand oral care products in the bathroom – the brands that most people trust for use in their homes are often offered in the hotels to ensure that their guests can also feel right at home in their hotel room.
