Best Pools in Hotels

Hotel Pools

One of the main attractions of every hotel in the world is its pool or pools. Swimming in pools or lounging around one is a popular activity in the summer. It helps guests to stay cool, to have fun and to socialize with other people. However, some hotel pools are just better than others. This is because of the activities the hotel pool offers or simply the special features unique to every hotel pool.

A Great Hotel Pool

There are many factors to consider when considering whether a hotel pool is great or simply the greatest. These factors should include the level of fun, the level of comfort, the level of relaxation, the hotel pool surrounding environment, the design as well as the health consideration of the hotel pool. The most important factor to consider, however, is that in order for a pool to be considered one of the best pools, it should be accommodating to both children and adults.

Best Hotel Pool Criteria

Swimming in a hotel pool should be a fun experience; this is one criterion that needs to be met in order for a hotel pool to be considered one of the best. A fun hotel pool offers many different activities for both kids and adults. This could mean the inclusion of slides, the availability of a pool bar, different pool activities arranged by the hotel and so on. The best hotel pool should never be limited only to one activity which is swimming and swimming alone.

The best hotel pool should also be comfortable. In order for a hotel pool to be comfortable, lounge chairs should be available for hotel guests. Lounge chairs should be provided with complimentary towels and should always be prepared. The water temperature of the hotel pool should also be considered. In order for the guest to stay comfortably in the water, the hotel pool water should be at a reasonable temperature.

Guests at the hotel should also be able to find a means of relaxation in a great hotel pool. There are hotel pools that offer massage services when the guest opts to stay poolside or before or after taking a dip into the pool.

The surrounding environment and the design of the hotel pool should be astounding if the hotel pool is vying for the best spot. This means that guests should be able to enjoy a nice ambience, depending on the hotel theme.

Swimming in the pool should also be a healthy and safe experience for guests. This means that pool water should not be too chlorinated to avoid damaging the skin of the guests. There are also hotels that offer therapy pools and pools filled with natural mineral water rather than chlorinated water. Lifeguards should also be present in order to keep an eye on the safety of the hotel guests.

Lastly, in order for the hotel pool to be considered as one of the best in the hotel and hospitality industry, it should have a unique feature. There are pools in some hotels in different parts of the world that offer private cabanas, poolside massages, floating bars, underwater tunes and more. All this and more can entice guests to come out of their rooms and have fun.
