Concierge Services

Concierge Services

Concierge services in hotels are becoming a staple especially in high-end hotels or in hotels that cater to a wide range of customers with many different needs. Concierge in general refers to personal assistants that are dedicated in providing the needs and wants of the customers they serve. Hotels are one of the first industries that adopted concierge services and offered this to their guests for an additional pay. There are also independent companies that offer concierge services without necessarily any official connection to a particular hotel. These independent concierge services function more like a freelancing concierge that accommodate customers from different hotels.

Customer Satisfaction through Concierge Services

The industry of concierge services in hotels is relatively new but lately, the demand of this type of service has surged up mostly due to the fact that customers prefer not to have to think about too many things while on their vacation or business trip. Customer service has also been the focus of many companies including hotels and offering concierge services to their customers is one of the most effective ways for hotels to provide optimum satisfaction to their clients.

There are many types of services that the hotel concierge departments offer to their clients – some ranging from the common services to the rather mundane and even odd. Some of the common tasks that travelers often ask from the personal assistants include searching for concert tickets or provide bookings to special events. Business referral services, dry cleaning delivery and pick-up, pet services, transportation services, senior care and vacation and travel planning are also some of the services that are provided. Clients, who can afford a little more luxury than most common travelers, can also demand hotel customization that includes choosing the colors of curtains and a custom setting for the room – all for an additional pay depending on the type of change and amount of customization that is needed.

Hotel concierges are also excellent in event planning and all a traveler needs to inform the assistants is the type of event they are planning and all other fundamental requirements and the concierge will do the rest.

There are so many other things that concierge services offer to their clients just for the common goal of giving them the utmost comfort and satisfaction that they could have in their chosen home away from home. And though these services can be a little costly, they sure are effective in making travelers enjoy their vacation or business trip with the least hassle as much as possible.

The Four Seasons Las Vegas is truly a remarkable place. At first I didn´t think it was possible to escape the sounds of a typical Las Vegas evening, but I was wrong. Don´t get me wrong I like coming to Las Vegas for the gambling, food, and pure people watching entertainment
