Room Service

Room Service

There are many things that separate one hotel from another – from the perfect location in the city, to the amenities offered, to the facilities and even to room service. No matter what the type of customer a particular hotel caters to, it is always important that even the minutest detail in customer service that the hotel management can offer is perfect. No flaw is ever excused since a tiny difference in the room service and customer service in general may lead to a loss of a valued customer.

Typical Room Service and Why It Matters

There is surely nothing like going home to a clean, well-furnished and tidy hotel room that is complete with all the needed and wanted amenities that you need after a long day of business and/or travel. There are many additional services that you may need and request to the hotel management depending on the nature of your travel or your personal preferences. Room services that are most common for most business or pleasure travelers which include room air conditioning, a mini-bar, a coffeemaker right in the room, a cable television, iron coupled with an ironing board and daily maid service. Some travelers also require a safe in the room, non-smoking rooms, a DVD player, voicemail services and even a complimentary newspaper.

Most of these services are being offered by most hotels by default – if not, the customer is always free to ask the management for these services and the fees that the preferred service may incur. Aside from the availability of these services, it is almost quite important that the requests are given promptly. No one wants to request something and have to be kept waiting the entire day before hearing anything from the management. Promptness is also nothing if the quality of service is substandard. Aside from giving the customers what they want as fast as possible, it is also best that the hotel management offer the best possible type of room service to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.

Good Room Service Can Spell a Good Hotel

It cannot be denied that a hotel that offers quality and fast room service has the upper-hand compared to one that does not seem to care at all for customer requests – no matter how far off the other has in terms of amenities and facilities. May it be a requested breakfast in bed or several cans of iced cold beer – any hotel that is dedicated in giving you prompt and good results to any of your requests is always a good hotel.

The Four Seasons Las Vegas is truly a remarkable place. At first I didn´t think it was possible to escape the sounds of a typical Las Vegas evening, but I was wrong. Don´t get me wrong I like coming to Las Vegas for the gambling, food, and pure people watching entertainment
