Spas in Hotels

Spas in Hotels

Hotels are synonymous to relaxation and rest – so, with the stress that accompanies the fast-paced business world, it is no wonder that spas in hotels have thrived and turned into a multi-billion dollar enterprise. Women have enjoyed going to spas for years but the men are starting to look into this stress buster. Also, men realized that massages not only eased their stress away but also helped improve their sports prowess, especially when they go through regular sports massage.

Why Choose a Spa in your Hotel?

The simplest answer to this is that you don´t have to travel from the spa to your hotel room – you can sleep as soon as the treatments are finished or you can change into your evening attires and attend the social functions, renewed.

The hotels have included spa treatment facilities into their blueprints to ensure that they can provide their guests with all the relaxation and peace that they can get. With that in mind, don´t you think it would be worth a shot to try these treatments? Of course! There are a lot of things that you can do in the spa – whether you are male or female.

The Massages

Depending on the hotel, choices such as different massage types and techniques, facials, baths, and body treatments can be availed of. Stone Treatment and Deep Tissue Massage are among the most popular massage types.

You can also try to have a reflexology or a sports massage to improve your health and your circulation. A lot of people find Thai massage as very rejuvenating, too. Most of the time, prices for the massages depend on the number of minutes that you will be massaged and the add-on stuff that you might also avail of – such as aromatic oils.

The Facials

The best thing about spas in hotels is that you can have rejuvenated skin without having to leave the building. You can have an anti-aging facial massage or deep cleaning treatments. The men also have their own version of the facials, aptly called as the Gentleman´s Facials. Prices depend on the facials – which are sometimes categorized into levels that provide basic to ultimate or very special facials.

The Baths

Revitalizing baths have also become very popular these days – aromatherapy, mud, and hydrotherapy baths are among the most commonly chosen by spa-goers these days. The price depends upon the type of bath, how many people are going to be in the bath, and add-on stuff that you may want to avail of.

Finding the Hotel with a Spa

You should never assume that all hotels have spas – the best thing for you to know if one has such facility is to ask when you call for reservations. That is to avoid anticipating for a relaxing massage which the hotel could not actually provide you.
